Brutally Honest Storytelling Open Mic is a live storytelling event where it gets real.

Come to share your honest, real, personal stories. No experience necessary. New storytellers or experienced storytellers - everyone has stories.

Tell a story off the top of the dome OR prepare a story & tell it OR read a story from paper, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s your brutally honest story. OR just come to listen, that’s okay too!

Open Mic Rules:

• Come to the Blind Pig at 7pm to sign your name on the list.

• List closes at 7:30pm and show begins.

• Names will be called in order for audience members to share a 5-minute story.

• Tell or read your brutally honest story.

• Show continues until all the names are called or 10pm, whichever comes first.

• No fiction. No stand-up. No poetry. No guitars. Just stories.

• No racism. No sexism. No homophobia. No hate speech. You can be brutally honest without being an a**hole.
